Doña Paula Estate Malbec 2008
Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaThe best yet from the Dona Paula "estate" malbec that will be poured at the 2010 Playhouse Wine Festval. Love the spicy, savoury, vanilla, sage, coffee nose laced with black cherry jam, liquorice and tobacco notes. The palate is round and fresh with a rich, lightly tannic palate. Lots of chocolate, vanilla, sage, tobacco, dried herbs, black cherry, plum, orange flavours speckled with poultry spice and fresh fruit.
