Therapy Vineyards Merlot 2008
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaGood colour but under screwcap the opening nose is reduced with slightly dirty notes. Underneath there is brighter plummy fruit with fairly taut acidity and plenty of vanilla and oak. The flavours are similar with chocolate plums and a touch of garlic. Definitely give this some air before serving perhaps as much as 45 minutes to an hour to blow off some the reduced character.
