LoTengo Malbec 2008

Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaOver the years LoTengo has always been good value if a little rustic and but at $12.50 a bottle you have to consider it well worth buying. Look for dark spicy red fruit with smoky undertones. The flavours are a mix of cedar, resin and cherries with good acidity and fine overall balance. It finishes dry and soft. Think barbecue ribs.Tasted: 16 February 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
