Heathcote Estate Shiraz 2006
Victoria, AustraliaThis is one big shiraz with a three percent dusting of grenache and plenty of alcohol. Look for a lifted nose with a whack of black and blue berry fruits with a strong undercurrent of raspberry cedar and mocha chocolate. Spice and more black fruit and a touch of dried herbs coat the palate along with some fine grained tannin. Rich and youthful, you can cellar it for five years or decant and serve with a roast lamb.Tasted: 25 February 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $43.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Grady Wine Marketing |
