Castello di Bossi Chianti Classico 2006

Castelnuovo Berardenga, Siena, Tuscany, ItalyOpen smoky, black cherry, meaty, liquorice nose with resin, pepper, floral, pruny, leather nose. Dry, round, slightly tannic and lean but elegant with fresh acidity and fruity cherry, coffee, liquorice cedar-y, tobacco flavours. The finish is a bit rustic and tight, needs 2-3 years to round out or serve with grilled meat now. A solid and balanced of what is a modern style sangiovese.Tasted: 06 February 2010Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:
