Rich, ripe, dry, smooth, full bodied palate with some grainy tannins. Smoky, peppery, vanilla, coffee, cassis jam, blackberry, pruny, cedar, tobacco, milk chocolate, licorice flavours. The finish is very warm with lots of vanilla, espresso and tobacco leaf. Good finesse but needs 2-4 years to fully integrate and round out.
