Moncellier Sauvignon Blanc 2008
Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandThis is a classic interpretation of Marlborough sauvignon: crisp, jalapeno, citrus. The fruit comes from two sites - one in the Awatere Valley and the other from the Omaka Valley. No mysteries here. Simple straight-ahead winemaking and quick bottling. Look for an intense sauvignon flavours (grapefruit and passion fruit) but perhaps not as aggressive as some of its fellow labels. A perfect shell fish wine.Tasted: 02 January 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $30.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - The Seacove Group |
