Region del Valle Central, ChileOpen soft sweet fruit nose with a touch of forest floor. The flavours are a mix of raspberries, sour cherries and dried herbs all aged in 50 per cent new and used oak. It's a richer version of the entry-level pinot but it needs a little more finesse and mouth-filling sweet pinot character to be at its best.Tasted: 01 January 2010Tasted by: Prices:
Region del Valle Central, ChileNothing much changes here; except possibly there is a bit more competition at this level and thus more bottles of this budget pinot to go around. Look for a spicy earthy forest floor nose with bits of liquorice root and pepper. Expect a tart, black cherry fruit flavour mid-palate with more spice and mushroom in the finish. A turkey wine for sure and one you can afford.Tasted: 06 October 2008Tasted by: Prices:
