Yalumba Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz The Signature 2005

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaSpicy, floral, black cherry, black olive, tobacco leaf, compost, saddle leather, coffee, barnyard, vanilla and cassis aromas. Ripe, round, supple, full bodied palate with some good elegance and fresh acidity. Coffee, vanilla, smoky, cassis, plum, peppery, black olive, tobacco, leather, mineral flavours with a touch of tapenade and blueberry. The finish is warm and a bit tart but the textures are excellent as is the fruit with an herbal edge. Drink now but it will continue to improve for 3-5 years.Tasted: 12 December 2009Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:
