Twisted Tree Six Vines 2007
Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRooty, barnyard, spicy, smoky saddle leather nose with a dank compost undercurrent. Soft, round, supple, slightly sweet palate with herbal, cassis, tobacco leaf, olive, resin, sour cherry, coffee vanilla flavours. Warm slightly prickly finish but with soft textures. Needs more finesse and less green (cabernet/carmenère) tones to excel. Six vines is blend of malbec (25), cabernet sauvignon (25), merlot (23), carmenère (11), petit verdot (10) and cabernet franc (6) all grown on Osoyoos East Bench.
