Mudgee, New South Wales, AustraliaBillionaire and octogenarian Bob Oatley, the former founder of Rosemount Wines is back in business in Mudgee with the eponymous Robert Oatley brand. The style is espoused to be modern but elegant, as in not overcooked or over extracted. In fact this is an easy sipping red with soft textures and cool fruit flavours. The nose is fragrant with smoky cassis notes and a floral, peppery, mineral dark berry fruity aftertaste.
