Napa Valley, California, United StatesAn all hand-harvested chardonnay that is barrel fermented and sur lie aged in French oak. Look for rich, tropical, melon fruit nose with a nutty, resiny, citrus palate and a long warm finish. The oak predominates at this point but the fruit is firm and the acidity should support some medium term ageing. Leave alone for a year or two and let the oak settled down.
