Dunham Froese Merlot 2007
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSpicy, meaty, barnyard, black cherry, tobacco, saddle leather, floral, dried herb and olive aromas. Soft, round, fresh palate with light cedar-y tannins. Cool cherry, mocha, black tea, prune, herbal, olive flavours with a meaty, coffee, finish. Best served now with a piece of meat or give it another year of bottle age. A good start but needs more mid-palate charm.Tasted: 12 December 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $23.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Vino Allegro |
