San Juan, ArgentinaXumek is in San Juan Province in Zonda Valley. The xumek word "huarpes" was used by the indigenous inhabitants to refer to the sun. Look for a fresh bright well balanced syrah with plenty of acidity and verve. Look for plenty of smoky blackberry and chocolate notes with a dusting of white pepper.
