Yakima Valley, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThe 4th Holiday Edition of Lady in red is blend of fruit grown mostly at the Kestrel View estate vineyard that is all barrel aged 12 to 22 months. The entry is soft and open, very Washington, with ripe black fruit and a subtle savoury under current. The tannins are soft and slippery the flavours more blackberries, blueberries and cranberries, with just enough acidity to keep it interesting. There is no single vintage here and the blend is a 40/30/20/5/4/1 of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, syrah, sangiovese, viognier and malbec. A fine Holiday red, ready to drink and good value to boot.
