Inca Torrontés Chardonnay 2008

Calchaqui Valley, Salta, North, ArgentinaThis unusual blend of 80/20 torrontés/chardonnay is grown at 1800 metres in Calchaqui. The nose is highly perfumed with spice and lemon oil notes. The palate is dry and rich with floral grassy, five star litchi ripe peach and dried apricot fruit flavours. A little aggressive in style but should be fine with Pan-Asian foods. Bag the synthetic cork please and go screwcap.Tasted: 08 November 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
