Boutari Agiorgitiko 2007

Nemea, Peloponnese, GreeceAgiorgitiko or 'St. George' is one of the best known red grapes in Greece found mostly at Nemea in the Peloponnese region of southern Greece. The nose is an enticing mix of sweet plums and spice with a dusting of herbal nuances. The palate is dry with good acidity and bits of dried tomato, plum and milk chocolate. Fragrant and fresh. Surprisingly sippable. Tasted: 08 November 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
