Blasted Church Syrah 2007
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFloral, boysenberry, black cherry white pepper liquorice root, gamey, chocolate coffee and dried herbs on the nose. Round, supple, fresh, elegant style with very light tannins. Tobacco, herbal, cherry, coffee, spicy, menthol, sage, carrot top, mineral and liquorice flavours. A bit tart on the finish but has good finesse to go with food. Should improve over the next year or so.
