Castilla-Leon, SpainBodegas Arúspide sits in Valdepeñas some 190 kilometres south of Madrid in the wine area of Castilla La Mancha. This bright white made from the non-descript, widely planted airén grape, albeit in this case the grapes are organic. Light fresh airy, incredibly easy to sip with a grassy, lemon nettle nose and flavour that is perfect with light appetizers and warm salads.
