Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaEven better than the fine '04 version the '06 offers up blueberry, cassis and red liquorice notes bits of peppery, meaty tobacco notes. The palate is rich and supple with cassis, plums blueberry, black olive flavours with some underlying small grained tannins. You can drink this now with grilled meats or hold it for two or three years for even better results.
