Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalFloral, licorice, chocolate, blackberry jam, plum, smoky, dried herb, black fig, incense, tobacco aromas, good complexity and ripeness. Rich, ripe, round, supple but grainy tannins. Good sugar acid balance but a bit warm now. Lots of licorice, chocolate, peppery, dried herb, black berry jam, black cherry, dried black fig, spicy, tobacco, black tea flavours. Warm, elegant, ripe flavours.
