Joseph Faiveley Meursault 1er Cru Blagny 2007
Meursault, Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceFloral, slate, nutty, lees, peach pit, grassy, waxy, green apple, anise aromas - very good complexity. Dry, fresh, elegant, crisp palate with good finesse. Green apple, pear skin, vanilla, cedar, lemon, green peach, nutty flavours. A bit short but well-balanced and classic. Needs a year or two to broaden its slightly austere style.Tasted: 28 October 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $106.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Winspeer / Altovin |
