Felton Road Pinot Noir Block 3 2007

Central Otago, South Island, New ZealandSavoury, spicy, rubarb, smoky, celery, black cherry, orange, cedar, mint, tobacco, vanilla and tea aromas with a touch of barnyard, licorice and dried thyme. Rich, round, fresh, supple palate that is elegant, warm and a touch tart. Cherry jam, orange, smoky, green tea, tobacco, thyme, celery, vanilla, licorice and cedar flavours. A bit hotter, tighter with more tannins and more acidity showing than either Calvert or Cornish Point. Needs 2-5 years but has good concentration. Managed 100% organically and biodynamically. Felton Road is currently in the process of becoming certified biodynamic through Demeter.Tasted: 27 October 2009Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:
