Domaine Faiveley Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru 2007
Gevrey-Chambertin, Côtes de Nuits, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceRich, spicy, underbrush, meaty, licorice, coffee, tobacco, cedar, clove, floral, raspberry and cherry jam aromas, good ripeness. Rich, warm, round and dry with somewhat tannic and taut now. Meaty, carrot top, raspberry, cherry, orange, coffee, licorice, rooty, compost, coffee flavours. More structured and tight than the Latricières, this will need more time, at least 5-7 years to soften.
