Chateau Puygueraud Cuvee George 2006
Cedar, olive, rooty, leather, peppery, resiny, rooty coffee aromas. Dry, elegant, tight, cedar-y tannins but a bit tart and hollow. Peppery, coffee, sour cherry, licorice, root, resin, and meaty, leather, tobacco leaf flavours. Needs a few years but lacks concentration and the finish is tart. Simple red blend.Tasted: 28 October 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $39.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
