Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaBig peppery, liquorice, floral nose with mineral/wet stone, smoky, blackberry jam, vanilla, kirsch, saddle leather and meaty aromas. Rich, ripe, fat and full on the palate with some grainy tannins and fresh acidity. Big black cherry jam, kirsch, vanilla, coffee, smoky meaty, floral, blueberry flavours with some a wisp of tobacco and carrot. Lots of intensity but with alcohol and some acidity poking through.
