Wild Horse Canyon Left Bank White 2007
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom a fictional West Coast Appellation to a VQA designation Wild Horse Canyon has launched Left Bank White. No, it is not from Bordeaux although I'm betting someone hopes you might confuse the prestigious "Left Bank" moniker given Haut-Medoc wines, including the whites of Graves, for this modest B.C. effort. The shame of it all is it doesn't need any tricks. This is a good bottle of white wine for $13. It soft and round and ripe and its tropical fruit flavours are easy to drink. The 65/35 blend of chardonnay and pinot blanc will please many palates.Tasted: 13 September 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $13.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Mark Anthony Brands |
