Chateau d'Angludet 2006
Margaux, Haut-Médoc, Médoc, Bordeaux, FranceLook for a quiet earthy blackberry flavour with bits of liquorice spice and good acidity. Not a blockbuster like 2005 but it is the modern-day tannins (softer and silkier) that save this balanced wine in the back end. Drink now with steak frites. A good d'Angludet that will repay five to seven years of ageing from the harvest.Tasted: 11 September 2009Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $53.99 | 750ml | speculative listing - Dream Wines |
