Tuscany, ItalyDescribed as non-interventionist and organic, Poggiomandorlo is Montalcino-based. The wine is made by Roberto Cipresso at Tenuta Oliveto. The '05 Hombre is a blend of Tuscan sangiovese, cabernet franc and merlot. The nose is a fragrant mix of black cherry, dried cranberry, vanilla, coffee, smoky sausage and five spice aromas. Round, dry, slightly tart palate with light tannins. Cranberry, coffee, peppery, black cherry, vanilla, dried herb flavours.
