Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FrancePeppery, spicy, leather, garrigue, vanilla, meaty, smoky, black cherry and rosemary nose. Rich, round, ripe, slightly tannic palate with very good acidity. Spicy, black cherry, orange peel, licorice, rosemary, leather, savoury, cedar, prune flavours. The finish is a bit fiery but has good fruit and balance. Will improve over the next 1-3 years.
