Isabel Sauvignon Blanc 2007
Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandA slightly sweeter riper version than most Marlborough wines we see the Isabel can double as a solo aperitif patio-style drink or you can easily pair it with rich mussel dishes. Most of the juice is cool fermented with some 5 per cent barrel fermented in French oak. The nose is bright and fresh with lemon zest, a hint of asparagus and plenty of bright tropical fruit. A slightly kinder, gentler elegant version that should be well received in America.Tasted: 04 June 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $25.00 | 750ml |
