Frescobaldi Danzante Pinot Grigio delle Venezie 2008
Veneto, ItalyDanzante has quite a history with pinot grigio and the style is now more or less set in a good way. The nose is fresh with nectarine skin and tropical fruit. The palate is dry and crisp with more tropical notes of papaya with kiwi, lemon grass and minerality. It scrapes the palate clean so be sure to pair it up with some shellfish or light seafood dishes or grilled vegetables. The fruit is sourced from Trentino Alto Adige, the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
