Dyer Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain District 2005

Diamond Mountain, Napa Valley, California, United StatesPeppery, spicy, iron, leather, tobacco, cassis, savoury aromas with a bit of leafy cassis. Round, dry, elegant, slightly austere palate. Cassis, tobacco, cedar, earthy, spicy, peppery, vanilla, slightly herbal, cherry jam finish. Good finesse but youthful, needs 2-5 years to soften the slightly astringent mountain fruit tannins.Tasted: 20 June 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
