Bridlewood Syrah 2005
Central Coast, California, United StatesMuch like the previous edition it opens with floral vanilla overtones and a whack of milk chocolate. The palate is soft and silky upfront with meaty black fruit/blackberry flavours flecked with liquorice. There is a pinch of acidity in the back end but otherwise this is a solid wine for the money. Bridlewood employs whole berry fermentation in open top tanks and it is all aged in French oak.Tasted: 29 June 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $17.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
