Elephant Hill Pinot Noir 2007

Central Otago, South Island, New ZealandSmoky, black cherry, plum fruit nose with flecks of rhubarb, tea leaves and spice. Tart dark cherry fruit style with soya, tea, rhubarb flavours with a spicy finish. The mouthfeel is a bit light for Otago but it is both smooth and long on the palate. Ready to drink now with food but will hold for three to five years.Tasted: 22 May 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
