Columbia Crest Chardonnay Grand Estates 2007

Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThe style of most American chardonnays continues to lag behind the current trend to the brighter, fresher style. Columbia Crest falls into this oaky, richer style because it still sells well. Look for a rich open nose of toasted oak and vanilla with creamy buttery fruit, flecked with honey and ripe mango in the finish. It's fairly well balanced and that adds to its appeal.Tasted: 05 April 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
