Tommasi Valpolicella Classico Superiore 2007

Pedemonte Valpolicella, Verona, Veneto, ItalyThe wine has been very consistent over the last decade offering up an attractive gamey, licorice root nose with bits of white pepper, tobacco, almonds and cherries. The palate is dry with fresh plummy cherry chocolate fruit and a titch of tobacco. Margherita pizza or a vegetable pasta dish will do nicely here.Tasted: 12 March 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
