Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileOrganically farmed. Huge spicy, eucalyptus, sappy cassis, tobacco leaf, black cherry, bay leaf, savoury aromas. Rich, round, dense, supple palate with peppery, cigar, spicy, sappy cassis, eucalyptus, black olive, orange peel and chocolate flavours. Somewhat warm and rustic but has very good intensity with the strong dried herb component. Has a touch of carmenère and syrah from Isla de Maipo. Will be good with grilled pepper steak or stews.
