Rolf Binder Hanisch Shiraz 2006
Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaBig vanilla, cedar, peppery, poultry spice, blueberry, blackberry, milk chocolate, coffee, floral aromas with a licorice, meaty, gamey note. Dry, full, rich, round palate with light, grainy tannins but a touch of acidity. Cooked plum, blackberry, coffee, vanilla, milk chocolate, tobacco, cedar, meaty, licorice root and mineral flavours. Fine fruit intensity and balance but the finish is a bit tart and hot. Needs a few years to round out.Tasted: 05 January 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $120.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Landmark Wines |
