Dry, full, rich, round palate with light, grainy tannins but a touch of acidity. Cooked plum, blackberry, coffee, vanilla, milk chocolate, tobacco, cedar, meaty, licorice root and mineral flavours. Fine fruit intensity and balance but the finish is a bit tart and hot.
