Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, ItalySpicy, cedar, peppery, meaty, black olive, cranberry nose with streaks of chocolate, Christmas cake orange peel aromas. Dry, fresh, somewhat tight and tannic but with finesse. Cherry, spicy, cranberry, plum, peppery, smoky, meaty, savoury flavours with some black olive, tobacco leaf and dried garrigue on the finish. Good intensity and finesse but needs 2-4 years to tame the tannins and heat.
