Terralsole Coldoro Merlot 2005
Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, ItalySpicy, peppery, savoury, meaty nose with floral, black cherry, plum fruit with a bit of black olive and leather. Dry, tight, warm and elegant with good finesse but a bit hollow at this point on the mid-palate. Plum, cherry, orange peel, tobacco, smoky, resin, mineral, floral, waxy flavours. Good bright fruit and finesse with balance. Needs a bit more concentration to go the extra level but well made.
