Sumac Ridge Pinnacle Red 2005
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBig open tobacco, black olive nose with bits of coffee, celery, saddle leather and licorice aromas with a cedar, savoury/barnyard note. Round, dry, supple tannins and moderately elegant despite a bit of alcohol. Its flavours mix coffee, licorice, sage, vanilla, black cherry, savoury cassis, south Okanagan flavours. Well balanced with a tobacco, cranberry, coffee finish. This will need another two to three years to settle down.
