Sonoma County, California, United StatesIf it's true the zinfandel category is a landmine for consumers in search of a serious red you can put away your doubts when you have a Seghesio label in your glass. One of the few remaining Italian families still making serious Zinfandel the family works over 250 acres of its own as well as sourcing fruit form other Sonoma sites. We love the silky spicy round fruit with the bright red plummy fruit. On the palate is a dash of dried herbs mixed with chocolate and dark fruit flavours dusted with light tannins.
