Quinta do Crasto Douro Vinho Branco 2006
Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalA blend of 20 Douro white grapes made from 50 year-old vines yields a remarkably fresh wine. Clearly modern and equally inviting on the dinner table. The palate is awash in grassy citrus fruit flavours, with bits of minerality, a pinch of dried herbs and not a drop of wood. Impressive, understated, crisp white wine as only the Euros can make.Tasted: 06 December 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $20.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - The Seacove Group |
