Ortas Tradition Rasteau Côtes du Rhone Villages 2007
Côtes du Rhône, Rhone Valley, FranceVery reduced nose with tobacco leaf, meaty, peppery, leesy, sour cherry aromas. Soft, round, supple, easy palate with plum, cherry, tobacco, rooty, coffee, peppery flavours with some light tannin. A bit tart on the finish. Best to decant this to blow off the reduced, rubbery notes that are surely linked to the use of a new screwcap.Tasted: 04 December 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $20.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
