Mt. Boucherie Family Reserve Summit White 2004

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is my first look at this impressive white that blends chardonnay, sémillon, pinot gris and riesling. It's fermented in French oak followed by 18 months in bottle. The nose is has an attractive toasted pear and nutty scent and it follows through on the palate. Rich peachy fruit with toasted nuts and vanilla wraps up the back end with just enough acidity to keep it interesting. Impressive creamy textures finish off the experience. Well done.Tasted: 21 December 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
