Jean-Luc Colombo Cornas Les Terres Brulées 2004
Cornas, Northern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceBig black cherry, plum jam, meaty, chocolate, tobacco, rooty, smoky, peppery, barnyard aromas. Round, dry, moderately rich palate with light, supple tannins. Chocolate, tobacco, cedar, garrigue, plum, vanilla, meaty, orange flavours. Very solid and understated, improves with decanting but lacks the concentration to move to another level.Tasted: 12 December 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $83.95 | 750ml | specialty |
