Galil Mountain Yiron 2005
Upper Galilee, Galilee, IsraelBig spicy, peppery, tobacco, cassis and vanilla nose with cedar, rooty, plum and meat aromas; very youthful. Round, full, supple, warm palate with light grainy tannins. Peppery, cedar, cassis, plum, leather, licorice, smoky, meaty flavours. A bit dry and Euro style but has good fruit and balance. Needs one to three years bottle ageing to settle down but good fruit core. A riper version than the previous year.Tasted: 09 December 2008Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:BC | $30.00 | 750ml |
