Sierra Foothills, California, United StatesYou sense the elegance and lighter body of this cabernet grown at 1900 feet on the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This is a bright red showing almost European acidity and a tightly wound cabernet undercarriage. The fruit is dark and brooding with spicy Christmas cake notes and slightly chunky tannins. The blend is 76/24 cabernet sauvignon/cabernet franc all aged in French oak.
