Castello di Bossi Corbaia 2003

Castelnuovo Berardenga, Siena, Tuscany, ItalySpicy, vanilla, chocolate, meaty, tobacco, leather, black olive, black cherry, cassis, waxy aromas with a touch of barnyard. Ripe, rich, dry, tight with grainy tannins but good acidity. Lots of chocolate, vanilla, meaty, peppery, spicy, black cherry, plum and cassis flavours with a minty, black olive, resin and licorice finish. Good intensity but a bit hard now, needs 5-7 years to fully integrate. Corbaia derives its name from a pigeon's nest where a Crow (corvo) lays its eggs it is a 70/30 blend of sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon.Tasted: 22 November 2008Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:
